He is survived by: his children, Allan Rippentrop (Dolores) of Owatonna, MN and Lori Coleman (Ron) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Rob Rippentrop (Kristy), Amber Wubben, Natalie Neil (Matt) and Rachel Drury (Seth); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Emma Wubben, Skyler, Samantha, Hayden Rippentrop and Greyson Neil; and his sister Ramona Levorson (Harlan) of Lake Mills.
