She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Winkleman and Pearl Winkleman (Jensen); her sister Lorraine Pitkin; her former husband Richard Mawdsley; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Mawdsley; and her grandson Dain Craig Mawdsley.

She is survived by: her great grandchild Tristan (Hilary Mawdsley Rescaglio); her children, Kristine (Ronnie) of Yuma, Arizona and Channon (Cinnamon) of Algona; her grandchildren, Benjamin Mawdsley of Bozeman, Montana and Calli Mawdsley of Fort Collins, Colorado.; her brother Dwight (Jan); and also, Craig of Quasqueton and Laura Lair-Mawdsley (Anne). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
