It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bea Smoley of Buffalo Center, Iowa, born in Manly, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Gallion and Helen Gallion (Stickfort); her former husband Clyde Johnson; her husband Ray Smoley; her children, Craig Johnson (Teresa) of Nerstrand, MN, Clyde Johnson Jr. of Buffalo Center, IA, Kimberly Geopfert (Eugene) of Britt, IA, Charles Smoley (Christy) of Forest City, IA and James Smoley of Fort Dodge, IA; her grandchildren, Tracy Hemphill (George), Marcus Johnson (Cassie), Randall Johnson (Holly), Trent Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Nicole Riggens (Danny), Sarah Ribbons (Doug), Melissa Hjelle (Ben), Tanner Smoley, Paige Oetker, Jacob Oetker, Megen Oetker and Katie Luth; her siblings, Roberta Cooper (Merrill) of Mason City, IA, Sharon Bosma (Richard) of Mason City, IA and Edward Gallion (Arlene) of Manly, IA; her sister-in-law Patricia Miller of Spencer, WI.; her daughter Debra Johnson; her grandson Jeremy Johnson; and her brother DuWayne Gallion. She was also cherished by 19 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
