He is survived by: his spouses, Velma Kardoes and Velma Dontje of Buffalo Center; his sons, Dennis Dontje (Melinda) of Mankato and Steven Dontje (Mary) of Duluth, MN; his grandchildren, Stephanie Schmeling (Jeff) of Littleton, CO, Tricia McMillan of Plymouth, MN, Anna Dontje (Eric Robinson) of Duluth, MN, Jacob Dontje (Libby Polster) of Lake Crystal, MN, Eric Dontje (Hannah Alvar) of Duluth, MN and Brianna Dontje of Beaverton, OR; his great grandchildren, Seth Dickinson, Alexa McMillan and Ava Dontje; and his sisters, Deloris Kettwick of Buffalo Center and Janice Van Der Zwaag of Hospers, IA.. He is also survived by his sons, grandsons and brothers.
