It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Brooks (Brunsville, Iowa), who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Dickman and Katherine Dickman (Harms); her husband Dr. Leonard Brooks; her brothers, Don Dickman (Imogene) and Gene Dickman (Cheryl); and her parents-in-law, Catherine Benson (Robert), Wallace Brooks and Calvin Brooks (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Len Brooks (Lisa) of Iowa City, IA, Mark Brooks (Susan) of Waynesboro, VA, Bradley Brooks (Jamie) of Huntsville, UT, Cathy Halverson (Dale) of Waterloo, IA, Sharon Bailey (Keith) of Hague, VA and Cynthia Brooks of Windsor, CA; her grandchildren, Chad, Jessica, Natalie, Stephanie, Andrew, Chris, Ben, Claire, Grace, Daniel, Ian, Austin, Taylor, Christian, Meghan, Keeley and Samantha; and her sister-in-law Shirley Brooks of Odenton, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Le Mars Bible Church, Good Samaritan Society of Le Mars, and Hospice of Siouxland.
