He is survived by: his son Matt Borchers (Heidi) of Graettinger, IA; his grandchildren, Zach and Kaleb; his son Scott Borchers (Hannah) of Brownsboro, AL; his grandchildren, Samuel, Lucian, Allegra, Phillip and Elizabeth; his close friend Janice Wurth of Le Mars; his sisters, Carol Van Beek (Roger) of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Mary Parkinson of Akron, IA; and his brother-in-law Burt Ullrich of Sergeant Bluff, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
