He is survived by: his wife Leona "Onie" Costello; his children, Diane Hayes (Rob), Connie Scovin (Bill), Bob Murtha (JoAnn), Greg Murtha (Beth) and Chris Miller (Von); his grandsons, Brian and Kevin Hayes; his children, Cecily, Carson Scovin, Amanda Hoerst, Rachel Fenske, Michael Murtha, Emily Murtha, Jennifer Mathers, Jacob and Jillian Miller; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Myles, Arden Hayes, Adelaide, Lawrence Fenske and Charlotte Mathers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be sent for a Victor American Legion Scholarship fund.
