He is survived by: his close friend Shawn Roberts of Brooklyn, Iowa; his brothers, Chris Gross (Pam) of Carlisle and Mitch Gross (Melanie) of Coralville; his nieces, Zola, Mary Danielle and Elsie; and his mother-in-law Sandy Roberts of Brooklyn. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Grinnell High School Music Department or to UnityPoint Grinnell Regional Hospice and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 368, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.
