He is survived by: his fiancée Deana Horras of Brooklyn; his partner's child Kellan Horras Coppinger of Ames, IA; his sons, Derek Kriegel (Amanda) of Hartwick and Dustin Kriegel (Holly) of Hartwick; his grandchildren, Ellie Mae English, Harper Kriegel, Zoe Kriegel and Emery Goodnight; and his siblings, Laura Blankenfeld (Bruce) of Grinnell, Karen Thompson (Kenny) of Grinnell, Cheryl Burnham (Rick) of Grinnell, Mark Kriegel (Debra) of Brooklyn, Curtis Kriegel (Angie) of Hartwick, Mindy Hall (Tony) of Grinnell and Ginny Burkle (Marty) of North Liberty, IA..
