He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Werning; his daughter Carolyn; his brother George Huedepohl; and his nephews, Dwight and Wayne Huedepohl.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Huedepohl (Esther) of Brooklyn, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Alfred Karsten of Marengo, IA, Wilfred Werning (Doris) of Van Horne, IA, Vernon Werning (Tammy) of Newhall, IA, Pat Werning of Cedar Rapids and Bonnie Werning of Shellsburg, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
