With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis R. Wood (Britt, Iowa), born in Falls City, Nebraska, who passed away on March 15, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Wood and Francis Wood (Orr); his former wife Dixie Wessels; his granddaughter Trisha Wood; his brother Ronald Wood; and his brother-in-law John Tegtmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Tegtmeyer Hilton of Britt; his children, Timothy Wood (Siobhan) of Bettendorf, Teresa Osby (Gary) of Atlantic and Todd Wood (Deanna) of Sheldon; his grandchildren, Thaddeus Wood, Trinity Wood, Taylor Wood, Tori Wood and Justin Wood (Meghan); his son Ayden; his daughter-in-law Kristin Dykstra (Jacob); his grandchildren, Jaelyn and Carter; his stepdaughters, Deb Schulz of Garner and Cindy Denzer (Bob); his stepgrandson Dustin Schulz (Katie); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Wood of Clear Lake, Beverly Ennis (Roger) of Mason City and Shirley Tegtmeyer; and also, Kinnick, Carver, Cody Schulz (Alexis), Andres, Ryder, Scout, Trista Rowland (Adam), McKenzie, Carson, David Tegtmeyer (Janice), Forrest Tegtmeyer (Sheryl) and Susan Dietz (A. B.). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
