It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Spiros Thanos of Britt, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Spiros Thanos to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his brother Adam; his wife Giota; his children, Maria Pradd (Tom), Constantino, Dino, Athena Vitacco (Pasquale) and Peneo G. Thanos; his granddaughters, Elena and Emma Pradd; and his brother George Athanasoulias of Greece.
Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org), in his name.
