He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Perkins and Marilyn Perkins (Quinn); and his father-in-law Carl Heginger. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Perkins of Britt; his children, Michaela Snavley of Palmer and Jessie Perkins of Ames; his stepson Cory Heginger of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Gabie, Eli and Noah; his brothers, Curt Perkins (Michelle) and Bobby Perkins (Melissa); his mother-in-law Darlene Heginger; his cousin Danny Perkins; and also, Carla Liska (Mike), Allan Heginger (Rhonda), Barb Bogan (Charlie), Emily Dallman (Ed) and Fay McChesney (Travis). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
