She was predeceased by: her mothers, C. K. "Connie" Kohlhaas and Susie Kohlhaas (Altman); her husband Dave; her son Daniel; her son-in-law Randy Mattson; her siblings, Art (Eleanor), Donald and Mary Evelyn; her sisters-in-law, Irene, Dottie and Mary Jo Kohlhaas; her parents-in-law, Maurice and Ella Bernhard; and her brothers-in-law, Paul (Ersel), Phil (Patty), Mark (Barbara) and Bill Bernhard.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Bernhard (Deb) of South Bend, IN, Kathy O'Neil (Mike) of New Brighton, MN, Steve Bernhard (Dawn) of Algona, IA and Becca Mattson of Sacramento, CA; her brother Rich Kohlhaas of Algona; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Goche (Bill) of Fairmont, MN and Marilyn Bernhard of Bancroft. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
