It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo E. Haines of Brighton, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Haines and Mabel Elna Haines (Moyers); and his sisters, Karla Harvey and Janet Sutter. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Wilmes of Brighton; his daughter Missy McNicholas of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Tallen McWilliams (Genna), Kelsey Young (Jacob), Molly McCants, Maci McCants and Jackson McNicholas; his great grandchildren, Kaizer McWilliams and Charlotte Young; and his siblings, Bill Haines (Bettye), Ron Haines (Heidi) and Elna Haines of Fairfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
