He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Boyd; his great grandchild Syris Rankin; and his brother Tim Boyd. He is survived by: his significant other Faye Steele; his sons, DeWayne Boyd (Susan) of Ottumwa, IA and Bradley Boyd of Brighton, IA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Boyd, Hannah Boyd and Hunter Boyd; his great grandchildren, Jordan and Lane Rook; and his siblings, Ted Boyd (Mary), Rick Boyd, Randy Boyd and Carol Miller (John).
