It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Neil McClurg of Brighton, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. McClurg and Agnes McClurg (Caster); his wife Martha McClurg; his son Douglas McClurg; and his siblings, Clifton McClurg, Junior McClurg, Berthema Thomasson, Marjorie Mikels and Doris Pancrazio.
He is survived by: his nephew Dennis McClurg; his daughters, Connie Moore (Larry) and Teresa Arbogast (Harold); his grandchildren, Stacey Hanley (Stephen) and Tara Hahn (Brett); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Maddie Eldridge, Reese, Jack Hanley and Jo Hahn; and his brother Robert McClurg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
