Jo Chafa Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2022, at the age of 86, Jo Chafa of Bridgewater, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Chafa to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Golly (Bissell) and Ernest Golly; her brother Robert Golly; her daughter Donna Stonebraker; her granddaughter Dawn Storey; and her great grandchildren, Samuel and Joshua McDonald.

She is survived by: her husband Leo Chafa; her sons, Mike and Scott; her sons-in-law, Jim Stonebraker of Lyons Colorado, Mike (Cindy Chafa) and Scott (Joni Chafa); her grandchildren, Mike Story, Kyle Chafa (Jessica), Wesley Chafa (Nikki), Zeke Chafa (Courtney), Mindy Chafa (John) and Blake Chafa; her great grandchildren, Emily, Gracie, Sophia, Adrian, Isabella, Sidney, Mychaela, Orion, Alara and Maddux; her extended family Sister Lois Nolan; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Golly and Maxine Jones. She is also survived by friends and family.

Memorials may be directed to the Jo Chafa memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.
