Rita Schettler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Schettler of Breda, Iowa, born in Templeton, Iowa, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; and her siblings, Henry Stevens, Edwin Stevens, Frances Taylor, Sr., Sylvia Stevens, Rosella Reynolds, Clara Hoekstra, Genevieve Murray and Julia Tigges.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Laura Herbolsheimer, Jordan Ludwig and Nikki Ludwig; her children, Laura Ludwig (Dale) of Carroll and Ken Schettler (Mary Jo) of Breda; and her grandchildren, John Herbolsheimer (Laura), Justin Ludwig, Ryan Ludwig (Nikki), Brett Ludwig (Jordan) and Holly Schettler. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended relatives and many friends.
Those attending the funeral mass are required to wear a mask and are asked to abide by social distancing Co Vid 19 guidelines.
