She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Nieland and Florence Nieland (Mueggenberg); her husband Delmar Bruning; her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Laura Bruning; her brothers, Norman Nieland (Gladys), Melvin Nieland (Donita) and Leo Nieland (Dorothy); and her brother-in-law Jerome Neu.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jonathon Bruning, Eric Bruning, Jeffrey Bruning, Justin Bruning, Zachary Bruning, Ali Eischeid and John Herbolsheimer; her children, Dean (Bev) of Breda, Mary Jo Schettler (Ken) of Breda and Dan (Cindy) of Lake View; and her sister-in-law Dona Mae Neu (Calif) of Rocklin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
