It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Koster of Breda, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Koster and Viola Koster (Reising); and his great-nephew Christopher Kollasch. He is survived by: his sibings, Allen Koster (Joyce) of Dubuque, Mary Kay Koster of Carroll, John Koster (Ione) of Breda and Marcia Kollasch (Dean) of Bentonville, AR. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. Bernard's Cemetery Fund c/o Good Shepherd Parish.
