He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Tiefenthaler and Ethel Tiefenthaler (Heinrichs); his brother Daryl Tiefenthaler; his parents-in-law, Marcell and Hedwig Reising; and his siblings-in-law, Loran Reising, Jane Kluver and Bonnie Tiefenthaler.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Reising; his children, Lori Tiefenthaler (Robbie Robertson) of Trophy Club, TX and Brent Tiefenthaler (Cindy) of Breda; his grandson Jack of Cedar Falls; his brothers, Dean Tiefenthaler (Deb) of Lake View and Danny Tiefenthaler (Theresa) of Breda; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Hutson (Don) of Omaha and Dennis Kluver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
