He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Williams and Mildred Williams (Carter); and his brothers, David and Roger Williams (Joan). He is survived by: his siblings, Delores Booth of Coralville and Richard G. Williams (Polly) of Rowley. He is also survived by his aunt, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Compassus of Cedar Falls / Waterloo.
