He is survived by: his wife Marie Bathen; his grandson Dennis; his children, William McFarland (Tami) of LaPorte City, Jeffrey McFarland (Christine) of LaPorte City, Denise Biretz (Eddie) of Fairbank and Debra Swanson (Joel) of Maquoketa; his grandchildren, Ashley Hess, Marrysa Harkness, Timmy McFarland, Magan Biretz, Morgan Biretz, Madilynn Biretz, Ethan Biretz and Tanner Swanson; and his siblings, Cliff McFarland (Nancy), Darryl McFarland (Lorraine), Jim Jungling (Deb), Bill Jungling (Deb) and Sue Kelly (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
