He is survived by: his son-in-law Russ; his wife Marjorie Ritland of Bradford, Iowa; his children, Kathleen Ferguson of Hampton and DeeAnn Chaplin of Ackley, Iowa; his grandchildren, James Ferguson (Rochelle), Daniel Ferguson (Marcella), Angela Horner, Carrie Larson (Aaron), Sarah Horner, Tyler Ritland, Michelle Pierce (Dustin), Sarah Wessels (Mike), Dusten Chaplin (Erin), Derek Chaplin (Amber) and Daisha Chaplin; his siblings, Floyd Ritland (Doris) of Zearing, Iowa, Opal Nelson of Nevada and Erma Blome of Hubbard, Iowa; and his children-in-law, Debra Ritland of Hampton, Iowa, Scot Horner of Geneva and Gary Chaplin of Ackley, Iowa.. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
