It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcene G. Cox of Boyden, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rodger Raymond and Thelma Boertje (DeGoey); her sister Cheryl Westra; and her great-nephew Mason Cox. She is survived by : her husband Alan Cox of Boyden; her brothers-in-law, Ross Cox (Sandi) and Robert Westra; and her nephews, Jed Cox (Natalie) and Jared Cox (Sara). She is also survived by several aunts and uncles and, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Northwestern Women's Basketball Program; Orange City, Iowa.
