It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanny Winter of Boyden, Iowa, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Winter (Lape) and William Winter; his siblings, Darwin, Gary, Tom, Karolyn Henderson and Joan Driesen; and his siblings-in-law, Eldoris Dykstra, Donald Tiedemann and Delmar Tiedemann.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tiedemann; his daughter Sonja (Nicholas Vande Griend) of Harvest, AL; his grandchildren, Elijah, Jacob and Amanda; his sons, Isaiah and Chad Winter of Spirit Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Sydney and Evan; his siblings, Marlo Winter (Liz) and Jean Driesen; and his siblings-in-law, Fran Winter, Rose Winter, Evelyn Bakker, Ann Tiedemann, Martia Tiedemann and Sam Driesen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
