She was predeceased by: her parents, Klaus Hollander and Sophia Hollander (Bahlke); her sister Deanna Tiedeman of Hull, IA; her husband Albert Kruse; her son-in-law Denny Atherton; and her siblings, Lucille Hayden (Vince), Wilbert Hollander (LaVonne) and Waldo Hollander.

She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine Schneiderman (John) of Worthington, MN and Sheila Atherton of Wabasha, MN; her granddaughter Angie Schneiderman-Nesselhuf (Ben) of Sioux City, IA; her brother Lyle Hollander (Lorna) of Boyden, IA; and her sister-in-law Lois Hollander of Boyden, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
