He is survived by: his wife Janie Davidson of Boone; his brother Jerry Davidson (Joy) of Kansas City, MO; his sons, Jim Carlson (Kaylea) of Boone and David Carlson of Boone; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Dathan, Elsie, Nova and Delanie; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Backous, Jr. (Jeannie) of Boone, Harold Backous (Lori) of Boone, Sharon Braland (Rick) of Ogden and Diane Braland (Steve) of Story City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
