He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Loudon and Lucille Loudon (Paisley); his daughter Marilyn; his siblings, Lawrence (Dorothy) and Shirley; his grandson Cory Sparks; his son-in-law Butch Sparks; his nieces and nephews, Dean Loudon, Rob Loudon, Boyd Gibson, Sharon Sobotka and Wanda Sobotka; and his pet Punkin.
He is survived by: his former wife Gladys Gibson; his spouse Jacquie Bollenbaugh (Reeves Tesdal); his close friend Mary Wirtz of Boone, IA; his grandson Todd Sparks (Stacy) of Maple Grove, MN; his great grandchild Noah Sparks of Clear Lake, IA; his son-in-law Tom Arndorfer of Clear Lake, IA; his stepchildren, Dawn Molle of Boone, IA and Ron Tesdal of Boone, IA; his nieces and nephews, Donna Akers, Laura Dodge, Jill Loudon, Sheryl Loudon, Peggy Greenman, Ross Loudon (Kate Kester), Rodger Loudon (Trish) and Jim Sobotka; and his friends, Hazel, Red and Jim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Boone Area Humane Society.
