He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Leroy (Bud) and Emily Marie Hoerner (Barmeier); his siblings, Natalie Smith, James Hoerner and Harry Hoerner; and his grandchild Kara Hoerner.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kim North (J. C.), Michael Hoerner (Kimberly), Jeffrey Hoerner (Laurie), Thomas L. Hoerner and Seth Lane; and his grandchildren, Justin Small (Gretchen), Tyler, Branden, Kelly May and Thomas Reed Hoerner.
