He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lois Payton and Kenneth Payton; his brother Jerry "Buddy"; his sister-in-law Deborah Payton; his grandparents, Daniel, Edith Carpenter, Raymond and Mildred Payton; his daughters, Nicole Arringdale (Nic) of Boone and Amy O'Brien (Dennis) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Ajay, Beau, Taylor Arringdale of Boone, Sean and Rory O'Brien of Texas; his sister Cheryl Swanson (Louis) of Jefferson; and his nephew Scott Swanson (Jane) of Omaha.
