He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald B. Sorber and Laura Nell Sorber (Larson); his parents-in-law, Joe and Olive Shuster; his sister Pam; and his brothers-in-law, Denny Maland and Don Ivis.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph and Angela; his wife Judy; his children, Joe Sorber of Boone, Mike Sorber (Joanna) of Jefferson, Matt Sorber (Dawn) of Boone and Angie Paris (Marty) of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Emily Dudley (Adam), Mitchell Sorber, Nick Paris (Maggie), Nate Paris (Bridget), Mallory Sorber (Darin), Mollie Sorber (TJ), Abby Sorber and Allison Sorber; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley (Jamie), Cody and Kassadi; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Conner, Caley Dudley, Fallon, Jovie Paris and Carter Sorber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation.
