He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Medearis and Maybelle Medearis (Jackson); his parents-in-law, Warren and Irene Patten; his brother Bobby Medearis; his brother-in-law Larry Kirby; and his granddaughter Tisha.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Medearis; his daughters, Pam and Shannon; his sisters, Lucy Medearis (Bill Frampton) and Dorothy Kirby; and his grandchildren, Cody (Lindsay), Chelsea, Brooke and Jasmine. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
