He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schoff and Esther Schoff (Barnhart); his sister Elizabeth Nelson; his parents-in-law, Wallace and Gladys Samuelson; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Robert Ziel and Roy Stockman.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Samuelson; his children, Kimberly Shuey (Monty) of Ogden, IA, Karyl Jones (Gene) of Huxley, IA and Alan Schoff (Jennifer) of Boone, IA; his grandchildren, Michelle Duncan (John), Nicole Bollenbaugh (Brad Lyons), Joseph Uthe (Kaylee), Nathan Jones, Jacob Schoff (Sarah Clark), Jentry Schoff and Jaxon Schoff; his great grandchildren, Qyra, Ashlynn, Andrew, William, Ryker and Nevaeh; and his sisters, Valenette Heldt (Ed) and Evelyn Stockman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or to the family for a memorial to Roland at a later date.
