It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Ullestad (Boone, Iowa), born in Story City, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ullestad and Marjorie Lund Ullestad; his brothers-in-law, Stephen Moeller and Jerry Boothe; and his cousin Steve Erickson.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Moeller; his wife Sue of Boone, IA; his children, Rachel Preus (Luke) of Alexandria, VA and Luke Ullestad (Ashlee) of Bondurant, IA; his grandchildren, Elijah, Magdalena, Ezra Preus and Parker Ullestad; his sisters, Pat Holman (Carter) of Des Moines, IA, Pam Amenson (Craig) of Polk City, IA, Rita Gilbertson (Mark) of Ames, IA and JoAnn Boothe of Ames, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Laurie Peterson (Brian) of Story City, IA and Sandy Moeller of Eagan, MN. He is also survived by Nieces; Nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
