She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl M. Maynard and Vivian M. Maynard (Martin); her husband LaVerne William Grabau; and her brothers, Glen and Dale Maynard.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Grabau (Aleisha) of Iowa City, Melissa (Paul Ray) of Boone and Matthew Grabau (Peggy) of Ames; and her sister Shirley Riley of Des Moines. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel (1006 6th St, Boone, IA 50036). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:40 PM at the same location.
