It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Johnson of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Johnson and Alma Johnson; his parents-in-law, E. E. and Leola Andrews; his sister Marilyn; and his brothers-in-law, Dean King, Leonard Jansa, Jim Hunt and Tom Pietz.

He is survived by: his wife Jan (Jan); his sons, Mark Johnson (Natalie) of Story City, Jeff Johnson (Kim) of Boone and Nick Johnson (Whitney) of Boone; his grandchildren, Samantha Meyer (Jonathan), Evan Johnson, Jacob Johnson and Trinitee Johnson; his siblings, Greta Jansa of Burnsville, MN and Don Johnson (Ruth) of Runnells; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Hedden (Bob) of Green Valley, AZ, Judy Hunt (Don Knudson), John Andrews (Judy) of Grand Junction, CO and Vicki Andrews-Pietz of Boone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, as Bob was a life-long member of Augustana Lutheran Church, memorials can be made out to Augustana or to the family to be used at their discretion.
