Richard A. Finnestad Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Finnestad of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christen Finnestad and Ida Finnestad (Birke); and his siblings, Edward (Peg), Mary Ann Carlson (Don) and Carrol.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stevens; his daughters, Krista Briley (Larry), Jennifer Finnestad (Leslie), Gwen Stevens (Donovan) and Shelley Finnestad; and his grandchildren, Jalyn Heeren (Austin), Jesse Briley (Jasmine), Dayne and Reese Stevens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the family or in care of Camp Okoboji, Trinity Lutheran Church or Boone Lions Club.
