He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Smalley and Betty Smalley (Hill); his brother William Smalley; and his niece Heather McAlpine. He is survived by: his sister Candie McAlpine; his cousins, David Klingmen (Pat) and Lavern Smalley; his sons, Mike and Jeff; his sister-in-law Cindy Smalley; and his nieces, Sarah Smalley, Mindy Smalley (Chris), Christy Boyd (Dan) and Amanda Smalley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boone Moose Lodge #104 (812 8th St, Boone, IA 50036).
