With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Gus (Boone, Iowa), born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Yorgensen and Faye Yorgensen (Farrier); her brother Wayne; and her former husbands, Earl Weigel and Howard Gus.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gus (Kathy) of Boone, Sherry Baranosky of Des Moines and Susan Jacobson (Mick) of Boone; her grandchildren, Andy Gus (Britt), Ali Gus, Alex Baranosky (Alice) and Riley Jacobson (Michele); and her great grandchildren, Reese, Nolan and Maddox Jacobson.
In memory of Peg, memorials may be directed to the family to be gifted at a later date.
