He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Fitzgerald and Ila Burgoon Fitzgerald; his in-laws, Mike and Florence Finnigin; his brother-in-law Loren Tungesvik; and his nephew Jerad Tungesvik.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Finnigin; his children, Angie Fitzgerald of Omaha, NE, Catie Kulawik (Craig) of Omaha, NE, Jim Fitzgerald (Ashley) of Boone, IA, Charlie Fitzgerald (Abbey) of Council Bluffs, IA and Theresa Cory (Collin) of Creston, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Claire Fitzgerald; his children, Caiden, Finley Kulawik, Gracie, Annie and Lainey Fitzgerald; his sister Mary Jo Tungesvik; his niece Kia Woodard (Jeff); and his cousins, Mike Fitzgerald (Marge), Geralyn McVeigh (Jim) and Maureen Hollingsworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be used to carry on Pat's legacy.
