He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. LaFollette and Wilma J. LaFollette (Dieleman); his brothers, Wayne and De Lane LaFollette; and his grandson Jack LaFollette.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley F. Jacobson of Boone; his children, Corinne LaFollette of Stratford, IA, Donna Sharer (Larry) of Jewell, IA, Eliot of Boone, IA and Lorin (Kate) of Boone, IA; and his grandchildren, Sam LaFollette of Ames, IA and Maren LaFollette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Nation Wild Turkey Federation, Scenic Valley Chapter.
