It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Jones Steinick of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thorn and Mabel Thorn (Larsen); her son Willard W. "Jack" Jones; her siblings, Marian Nielsen McArthur, Violet Ahrens, Robert "Bill" Thorn, Melvin Thorn, Roger Thorn and Jerry Thorn; her granddaughters, Chantyl McCoy and Christine Bruns; her brothers-in-law, Ross "Bud" Ahrens and Delbert Ingalls; her nephew Randy Ingalls; and also, Frank Long and Helmer Steinick.
She is survived by: her children, Jacque Toyne (Steve), James Jones (Carol) and Joel Jones (Donna); her sisters, Mary Lee Ingalls, Joyce Goos and Dianne Christensen; and her siblings-in-law, Lou Jones, Sharon Thorn and Carol Thorn. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
