It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. O'Brien of Boone, Iowa, born in Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace O'Brien (Sims) and Thomas O'Brien; his stepfather Glenn Parrish; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Joan; his wife Ronna; and his children, Michelle (Troy Brower), Chris (Jayne O'Brien), Cori (Paul Allen), David (Becky O'Brien), Denny (Amy O'Brien), Stacie Sesker (Betty Cottrell), Melissa (Jeff Bennett), Cris (Andy Downey), Lakin, Liam, Luke Allen, Abbey O'Brien, Jake O'Brien, Sean O'Brien, Rory O'Brien, Dylan Ott, Ben Ott, Spencer Bennett, Paige, Josh Crowder, Harper, Grace Downey, Jack Downey and Timothy.
