He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sandholm and Frances Sandholm (Lundberg); his siblings, Earl Sandholm and Doris Eastberg; and his nephew Kevin Sandholm.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sandholm; his daughter Joy Rouse (Fred); his daughter-in-law Evelyn Sandholm; his grandchildren, Cindy Carr (Dan), Roxanne Huggins (Brian) and Ben Sandholm (Jennifer); his siblings, Darlene Beyer, Maxine Burks, Irene Draper, Susan Ohge (Larry) and Mike Sandholm; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Carr, Amelia Carr and Logan Huggins.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.
