He is survived by: his wife Linda Patterson of Boone; his foster son Ken Wolfe (Jeri Lynn) of Boone; his stepchildren, Tim Schmidt of Boone, Lori Beckett of Ames and Julie Murphy of Boone, Iowa; his nephews, Jeremie Marlowe of Denver, NC and Michael Sondall of Boone; and his niece Deb Sondall Saetveit of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren.
