The memory of Marilyn J. Casotti of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Wilhelmina Amanda Moger (Jabker) and Leon Earl Moger; her son Gregory Lee; her brother Herold; her husband Ty; and her parents-in-law, Alfredo and Pia Casotti (Marzi).
She is survived by: her children, David Paul (Carol) and Lori Knight (Ron) of Shenandoah, Iowa; her granddaughter Ashley Shadel (Justin); her great grandchildren, Gianna of Lenexa, Kansas and Vivian Shadel of Lenexa, Kansas; her grandson Braden Knight (Randi Knop); her great grandchild Ruthie of Shenandoah, Iowa; her granddaughter Andrea Stumpf (Brian); her great grandchild Charlotte of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her grandsons, Anthony Casotti of Boone, Iowa, Tyler Casotti of Ames, Iowa, Trey Casotti (Eden Cross) of Pleasant Hill, Iowa and Dominic Casotti of Ames, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Shirley (Casotti).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community of Christ Church (1111 IA-2, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Mineral Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church c/o Building Our Future in Christ, Suncrest Home Health and Hospice Care of Ames, or St. Croix Hospice of Omaha.
