She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Carper and Virginia Carper (Shroyer); her husband Mel; and her siblings, Dorothy Lehman (Dayton), Mildred Knowlton (Max), Lester Carper (Francis) and Cecil Carper.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Dorr (Pat) of Ogden, Margaret Dake (John) of Wautoma, WI, Rose Holbrook (Randy) of Boone and Scott Dorr (Julie) of Boone; and her grandchildren, Shannon Hobbs (Donny), Miranda Winters (Aaron), Eric Dorr (Staci) of Tyler Dorr, J. D, Dennis Dake (Lisa), Chris Dake, Micky Miller (Justin), Angela King (Cody) and Ashley Leavitt (Jeremy). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie's name may be directed to Central Christian Church.
