He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Dighton and Irene Dighton (Kirkpatrick); his daughter Sherri Lyn; and his brother Dave Dighton. He is survived by: his wife Sherryl Ellingson; his children, Sally Overland (Ian), Dan Dighton (Sally) and Jeff Dighton (Ammie); his grandchildren, Jordan Pritchard (Koby), Mitch Overland (Lauren), Carrie Fox (Alex), Ben Dighton, Ryan Dighton (Katie), Emma Dighton, Paige Dighton, Carter Dighton and Phoebie Dighton; and his great grandchildren, Gavyn Pritchard, Finley Pritchard and Charlotte Overland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to use at their discretion.
